St. Mary the Virgin is home to a large and diverse group of homeschooling families! This year, there are three different homeschool groups and co-ops with methodologies and age groups to fit every family. At this point in the year, registration is closed for most of them, but please reach out if you are interested for more information and to possibly get on the waiting list.
St Mary the Virgin Homeschool Group meets every Monday morning at SMV, finishing with daily Mass with a nursery for the littles and a social lunch. They use the Classically Catholic Memory curriculum primarily and focus on the younger years to late elementary. Their website for more information is here: https://smvhomeschool.wixsite.com/website

Saint Newman Fellowship is a Charlotte Mason-based group that meets most Fridays and has various events throughout the month. First Fridays is a co-op for ages 6-14 at SMV with Mass and Shakespeare club, folk dance and song, hymn, and art. Second and fourth Fridays are a nature walk, and third Fridays are a Charlotte Mason Reading Group/play time at a park. Many members (especially those with younger children) just join in the nature walks and reading group. Website: https://sites.google.com/view/saintnewman/home
