“And from the throne came a voice saying, "Praise our God, all you his servants…”
—Revelation 19:5
St. Mary the Virgin offers many opportunities for our parishioners to become more involved in the beautiful celebration of the Mass, the source and summit of Christian life. We encourage all members of our parish, young and old, prayerfully to consider offering their special talents and time to serving in one of our weekly Masses.
We provide extensive training in all liturgical ministries, so you need not have any prior experience. Below are some of liturgical ministries you can share in at SMV. Please explore and discover how you can serve God and his people!
If you have any question, please call the Parish Office: 817-460-2278
This ministry is open to men and boys of the parish, members in good standing in the Catholic Church. Servers should be available to serve at Sunday Masses and on Holy Days of Obligation, Lenten devotions, and other special occasions. For more information, please see Brandon Gunnip, Acolyte Master.
This ministry is open to anyone who would like to help prepare the Church for each Mass celebrated daily throughout the year. The Altar Guild is divided up into teams, and the work is divided evenly.
To volunteer, contact Laura Walker at 817-938-2647 or [email protected].
This ministry is open to men, women, and teens of the parish. More ushers are needed at all Sunday Masses. To volunteer, please see Lonnie Jones, head usher.
